A business journey often involves more than getting one person from one address to another. There may be a shift to start, a visitor to collect, several colleagues travelling together or a meeting with a fixed arrival time. Ash Cabs welcomes corporate and private contract enquiries for Dunfermline and surrounding Scottish journeys.
Send the details of a single trip through the journey planner. For recurring work, explain the pattern to the team so availability, vehicle requirements and the arrangement can be reviewed together. An enquiry does not create a business account or a standing reservation.
Make your travel brief useful
- List the collection and destination addresses, including reception, gate or entrance instructions.
- Separate the time passengers can leave from the time they need to arrive.
- Give the number of passengers, bags and any equipment travelling with them.
- For regular journeys, include the days, frequency, proposed start date and contact for changes.
- Explain whether a company reference, receipt or particular billing detail is required.
Workplace pickups and airport connections
For a pickup around Amazon Way or another workplace, an agreed meeting point is more useful than a site name alone. Tell us whether passengers will be outside a public entrance, meeting in a car park or waiting at an agreed accessible location. Access to private premises must be arranged by the customer.
Airport requests should also include the correct airport, flight date and flight details. A road journey estimate is not a flight check-in recommendation; allow time according to the airline and airport guidance.
Confirm the arrangement before relying on it
Ask the team about availability, payment, receipts, any proposed invoicing arrangement and how changes will be handled. Credit accounts, monthly billing, dedicated vehicles and guaranteed cover are not automatically included. For several colleagues or multiple collections, request the appropriate vehicle and give the full itinerary. The team must confirm both the journey and any agreed commercial terms.
Before you travel.
What details help with work travel?
Share the exact entrance, required arrival time, shift or appointment time and any site access instructions. Allow time to get from the agreed drop-off point to your workplace.
Can I discuss repeated journeys?
Contact the team with the dates, rota, pickup addresses and passenger numbers. Recurring journeys, vehicle availability and payment arrangements must be agreed individually.
