Confirm the table before the taxi
Ask the venue about reservations, current opening, dietary needs and practical access. If a scenic view matters, confirm the actual seating arrangement rather than relying on promotional photographs. Allow time between the agreed drop-off and the reservation, especially if there is a walk from the road. Keep the restaurant and transport confirmations separately so a change to one does not get missed.
