Two households, one airport taxi: plan the pickup order

Plan an airport taxi for two households around Dunfermline: collection order, passengers, bags, stop minutes and the complete estimate before team confirmation.

Put your plans on the map.

Choose your pickup, destination and vehicle. Review the estimate before sending your request.

Plan a ride Call 01383 333333Subject to availability and staff confirmation. 4-seater — at least 2 hours ahead; 6-seater — at least 2 hours ahead; 8-seater — at least 4 hours ahead. Every request is subject to availability and confirmation by our team.

Build one itinerary for the whole group

When friends or family leave from different addresses, put every collection into the request rather than mentioning a second household after the fare is calculated. Record who joins at each stop and how many passengers will be in the vehicle on the busiest part of the trip. The vehicle must suit the full group, not just the people at the first pickup.

Compare pickup orders on the road map

One example is a Duloch pickup, a Rosyth collection and then Edinburgh Airport. That is an itinerary example, not a claim that it is the quickest order for your addresses. Start with the actual locations and compare the complete route. A nearby-looking collection can still require a different road approach. Keep the order in the request consistent with the order you want the driver to follow.

Plan the time at the second household

Enter realistic planned minutes for collecting people and loading bags. Planned stop time helps communicate the itinerary; it is not a free waiting allowance. The final group should be ready at the agreed time. If the flight requires a particular check-in deadline, work back from the airline’s guidance with suitable time for the full route and airport procedures, rather than using only the direct trip from the first house.

Choose seats and luggage space together

Add all passengers and describe all luggage before selecting a 4-, 6- or 8-seater. Larger cases, pushchairs and other items can affect which vehicle is suitable even when the passenger count fits. Check the advance-notice requirement shown after selecting the vehicle; it can differ between regular cars and the minivan. The team confirms the actual vehicle and availability.

Review one complete estimate

Use the fare calculator to inspect road miles, kilometres, stop allowances and the configured airport charge. Compare quotes using the same addresses, order, vehicle, time and luggage. Sharing the cost between households is your arrangement; the website does not create separate confirmed seats or guarantee a fixed per-person fare.

Confirm changes before the travel day

If someone joins at another address, the group changes vehicle or the pickup order changes, ask the team to revise the complete booking. The 8-seater remains a representative-confirmed request and has no initial deposit under the current minivan policy. Read the payment terms shown for your selected option. Start with group travel or extra stops, then send the full itinerary for confirmation.

Request your journey or check a route estimate. Staff confirm the vehicle, timing and agreed fare.

PRACTICAL JOURNEY QUESTIONS

Before you travel.

Does a second household count as an additional stop?

Yes. Add that collection to the planned itinerary, including the intended stop time. Extra road distance, configured stop allowances and waiting arrangements can affect the total.

Can we rely on the cheapest-looking per-person amount?

Compare the whole agreed journey first. The same passengers, luggage, route, vehicle and charges must be covered before a per-person comparison is meaningful.
