From a town marker to your actual door

A city or station pin provides a useful starting point, but it does not identify your house. Search the property number, street and postcode, then check the entrance on the map. If a house is not in the open-map data, use a street result and position the pin yourself. The estimate follows the selected coordinates.

Taxi routes around Dunfermline and Fife

Local journeys may connect your home with Dunfermline City station, Queen Margaret station, Rosyth or Inverkeithing. Match the meeting point to your train or coach arrival and add your final home address. Other Fife pickups can be requested through the pickup-area guides; the team confirms each itinerary.

Compare airport estimates for the same itinerary

For an airport journey, check the airport name against the flight ticket. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Glasgow Prestwick are different destinations. Enter each household as a separate pickup and include planned waiting. The airport charge table uses the current amounts configured by Ash Cabs, and a matched charge is included in the estimated total.

Compare vehicle sizes before requesting

Choose a 4-seater, 6-seater or 8-seater for up to 4, 6 or 8 passengers respectively, plus the driver. Tell us about bags and equipment separately. A full passenger load does not guarantee space for the same number of large cases.

Return trips and changed plans

A return journey needs its own date, pickup and destination. If a flight changes, contact the team with the booking reference. For an urgent journey or a location you cannot identify confidently, call 01383 333333. An estimate or request does not dispatch a vehicle; the team confirms the fare and availability.
