A 4-seater is the standard option in the Ash Cabs planner: up to four passengers plus the driver. Request a local ride in Dunfermline, a nearby Fife pickup or a Scottish airport transfer after reviewing the road route and estimated total. Every booking is subject to availability and team confirmation.
A local journey from the right entrance
Search the complete pickup and destination addresses, or choose each place on the map. Include the property number, street, town and postcode. If a property is not individually mapped, select a street result and confirm the correct vehicle entrance. Add any useful access instructions with your request.
Check the fare before you book
The 4-seater fare calculator shows the estimated total, road distance, selected stop time and any recognised airport charge. It updates when the addresses, vehicle or timing changes. An estimate is not a guaranteed fixed fare or confirmation that a driver is available; the local team confirms those details.
Four seats do not mean four large cases
Passenger capacity excludes the driver. Luggage capacity depends on the allocated vehicle and bag dimensions. Tell us how many large and cabin cases you have, and mention folded pushchairs or unusually bulky items. Compare the 6-seater or 8-seater request if your group and bags need more room.
Additional stops and waiting
Collect a friend or add another drop-off using the additional-stop control beside the journey locations. Keep stops in the order you need. Each pickup, drop-off or wait stop starts at zero minutes; choose extra time only when you need it. Review the updated total after changing the plan.
Airports, stations and advance booking
Choose a route starting point for an airport or station, then replace any general town marker with your actual entrance. How do I choose enough space for everyone?
Count every passenger and describe the number and size of bags before requesting a vehicle. Seat capacity and luggage capacity are different; our team confirms a suitable vehicle.
Can we collect people from different addresses?
Add each pickup in the order you want to visit it, with planned stop minutes. Extra distance, stops and waiting can affect the estimate, so confirm the complete itinerary with the team.
How much notice does each vehicle need?
4-seater — at least 2 hours ahead; 6-seater — at least 2 hours ahead; 8-seater — at least 4 hours ahead. Every request is subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
Is a deposit taken online?
No initial deposit is required with the current pay-at-pickup option. Arrange payment at the start of the ride with the team. Sending a request does not confirm a vehicle. The 8-seater has no initial deposit.
