Choose your pickup, destination and vehicle. Review the estimate before sending your request.
Give the appointment and entrance details
A hospital, clinic or large office may have multiple departments and entrances. Provide the building name, address and public entrance you need. Avoid including medical information that is not necessary for transport. Tell the team about steps, walking distance or equipment only where it helps assess the practical journey.
Set the arrival time before the appointment
Allow time to unload, enter the building and find the department. Tell staff when you need to arrive rather than only stating the appointment start. A map estimate ends at the road destination; it does not include reception queues or walking inside a large building.
Choose an honest return plan
An appointment may finish early or run late. Discuss whether a fixed collection is suitable or whether to phone once ready, understanding that a later vehicle will depend on availability. Do not assume the driver waits throughout an open-ended appointment unless that has been agreed.
Explain equipment and assistance in advance
If carrying a folding aid or travelling with a companion, describe the item and passenger count. Do not infer wheelchair accessibility or specialist patient transport from a vehicle photograph. Ask the team whether a suitable ordinary taxi arrangement is possible, and use the booking form for the accepted addresses and times.
All bookings are subject to availability and staff confirmation. Request this journey with your exact addresses, pickup time, passengers and luggage. Need to travel sooner? Call 01383 333333 to ask the team.
Request your journey or check a route estimate. Staff confirm the vehicle, timing and agreed fare.
Before you travel.
Can the taxi wait until my appointment finishes?
Only by prior agreement, including how waiting is charged. Otherwise arrange a separate return or call when ready to ask about availability.
